The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational, oral drug for celiac disease to see if it can reduce the symptoms of celiac disease (such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloating, cramping, and gas) as compared to a placebo.

Duration:  Approximately 4 1/2 months

Number of visits to AMR Lexington:  7

Reimbursement:  Up to $640.00 for time and travel.

NOTE:  Qualified participants must be at least 18 years of age, have been formally diagnosed by a physician as having celiac disease, have had celiac disease for at least the past 6 months, and have followed a gluten-free diet for at least 6 consecutive months.  Other criteria also apply.

Celiac Disease

If you are interested in participating in this study, please fill out the form below. This will help us determine if you meet some of the initial criteria necessary to participate. We will contact you within 48 hours to follow up and clarify any questions that you, or we, may have. If it is determined that you meet all of the initial criteria, you may be scheduled to come in for your first visit, which is considered a screening visit. At this visit, Dr. Adams and the study coordinator will determine if you meet all of the criteria required to participate. Per AMR Lexington's privacy policy, all of your personal information that we have obtained will be kept in our secure database, which can only be accessed by authorized AMR Lexington personnel, unless given your permission or except as required by law.
