Study Information

The purpose of this study is to estimate nicotine uptake and assess subjective effects during ad lib use sessions of an electronic nicotine delivery system with multiple flavors and nicotine concentrations as compared to an e-cigarette, conventional cigarettes, and nicotine gum in adult smokers ages 21 to 65.

Duration:  Approximately 1 week.

Number of visits to AMR Lexington:  2 (includes 6-day / 5-night in-clinic stay)

Compensation:  Up to $1,685.00 for time and travel.

Note:  Qualified participants must between the ages of 21 and 65 years old, be daily smokers, and be in general good health.  Other criteria also apply.

If you are interested in participating in this study, please fill out the form below. This will help us determine if you meet some of the initial criteria necessary to participate. We will contact you within 48 hours to follow up and clarify any questions that you, or we, may have. If it is determined that you meet all of the initial criteria, you may be scheduled to come in for your first visit, which is considered a screening visit. At this visit, Dr. Adams and the study coordinator will determine if you meet all of the criteria required to participate. Per AMR Lexington's privacy policy, all of your personal information that we have obtained will be kept in our secure database, which can only be accessed by authorized personnel, unless given your permission or except as required by law.
