Dietary Supplement for Skin Infections Study

Study Information

The purpose of this study is to assess the supportive role of an investigational dietary supplement when taken by subjects who are also taking previously failed antibiotics to treat an uncomplicated, community-acquired skin infections, including infections due to Methicillin-Resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

Duration: Approximately 30 days

Number of visits to AMR Lexington: 5

Compensation is available for time and travel.

Qualifications:

Qualified participants must be between the ages of 18 and 75 years old, be taking antibiotics as prescribed by a physician to treat an uncomplicated skin infection, and be in general good health.  Other criteria also apply.

If it is determined that you meet all of the initial criteria, you may be scheduled to come in for your first visit, which is considered a screening visit. At this visit, Dr. Adams and the study coordinator will determine if you meet all of the criteria required to participate. Per AMR Lexington's privacy policy, all of your personal information that we have obtained will be kept in our secure database, which can only be accessed by authorized AMR Lexington personnel, unless given your permission or except as required by law.
