Our In-House Facility
AMR Lexington’s Phase 1 Unit encompasses 5,000 square feet adjacent to our research office and is dedicated to healthy volunteer and special population early-phase trials. Each of the 10 private rooms is equipped with beds; a private bathroom; recliner; and flat-screen, cable-connected TV/DVD. Six of the 10 rooms are fully handicap accessible. The entertainment lounge offers cable TV, WiFi, DVD and book libraries, and game tables – ensuring the comfort of AMR Lexington’s volunteers, which increases compliance and reduces dropout rates. AMR Lexington currently maintains a healthy volunteer database of over 1,200 patients and has access to various patient populations across a range of therapeutic areas. This early-phase unit enhances AMR Lexington’s commitment to advancing pharmaceutical research. AMR Lexington is not under the jurisdiction of a local Institutional Review Board (IRB) and uses a Central IRB. Some Central IRBs used are Advarra, Copernicus, Quorum, and Sterling.
